HI! I’M EMILY!
Originally from the prairies of South Dakota, I developed an early appreciation for the relationship between landscape and the built environment. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies from South Dakota State University and a Master of Architecture from Clemson University.
For the past eight years, I have worked professionally as an Architectural Designer, a role that has sharpened my understanding of how architects communicate ideas through space, form, and visual representation. This experience directly informs my approach to architectural photography — I know what architects are looking for because I’ve been in their shoes.
Through architectural photography, I aim to document and interpret the built world—capturing perspectives that often go unnoticed and encouraging a deeper engagement with the spaces we inhabit.
